The Best Green Sauce!

 
 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 long red chilli

  • 1 bunch of basil

  • 1 bunch of parsley

  • 1 bunch of dill (swap for coriander if you’re making something with an Asian twist)

  • zest of 1 lemon

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • handful of capers (add a splash of caper brine for a flavour punch)

  • S&P of course!



METHOD

First smash the non-liquid ingredients in a food processor until they are all nice and friendly with eachother and chopped pretty small, then keep blending as you add the olive oil, lemon juice and caper brine (if you’re feeling ‘extra’).

Pour it into a jar.

Set it down on the bench.

Smile at it for a while with a loving gaze.

Then use it on EVERYTHING!
